Accessibility arrangements – Al-Ad Insurance Agency
Al-Ad Insurance Agency considers its commitment to all who come through its doors to be very important and therefore works to make all of its services and facilities accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities, 1998 – 1998, and the regulations pursuant to it, with the aim of allowing a fair and equal opportunity for those with disabilities.

Matching the offices:
We strive to ensure that Al-Ad offices are accessible to people with disabilities. Below is a breakdown of some of the existing accessibility arrangements in the organization:
There is a parking lot in the office building where we are located, which in coordination with the person in charge of accessibility, it will be possible to park in the parking lot in the handicapped parking available on the premises.
The paths, access roads and entrances to the organization’s buildings are wide and suitable for people using wheelchairs.
Service counters are accessible and adapted for people using wheelchairs, and the waiting station is spacious and has furniture that meets the accessibility standard.
Transparent doors and windows are marked as required.
Signs were written in large and clear writing.
Adjusting the website:
Adjustments were made to the organization’s website in order to allow people with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities to surf with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all surfers
The website and its contents were accessed in accordance with the guidelines of the Israeli standard 5568 “Guidelines for the accessibility of content on the Internet” for accessibility level AA, this standard is the same as the international WCAG2.0 accessibility recommendations.
The accessibility measures on the website include:
Compatibility with browsers – the site is supported by all common browsers in their latest version.
All images on the site have an alternative textual explanation.
Enabling navigation by keyboard.
Change color contrast based on dark/light background.
Adapting the site to display compatible with a variety of screens and resolutions.
There is complete separation between content and display by using CSS.
Adjusting the font size.
Stop animation.
It should be noted that the Al-Ad website is updated regularly, and in light of this, parts of the website may be discovered that are not fully accessible and require additional accessibility efforts.
